Financial Aid

Financial assistance can help you pay for your educational training expenses at Tri-County Adult Career Center. Training expenses can include tuition, books, fees and supplies.

There are different types of financial aid that may be available to you depending on your personal circumstances and the program you choose. Our Student Services Coordinator will walk you through the process of understanding and getting the financial help available to you.

Types of Financial Aid

The following organizations provide financial aid for qualifying students.

Pell Grant

Money does not have to be repaid
Students in full-time programs may be eligible; students in short term programs are not eligible
Based on financial need
Students must fill out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) using our SCHOOL CODE # 015232

Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation (BVR)

Money does not have to be repaid
For students with a disability
Eligibility is determined by your local BVR office

Department of Job & Family Services

All financial assistance eligibility is determined by your local Department of Job & Family Services

Bureau of Workers' Compensation Rehabilitation

Money does not have to be repaid
For injured workers
Eligibility is determined by your local Bureau of Workers' Compensation

Community Action Agency

Eligibility is determined by your local Community Action Agency

Veterans Administration Office

Eligibility is determined by your local V.A. office
