Phlebotomy - (10 Week Course)
A 140-hour phlebotomy preparation
program designed to prepare students to sit for a national
certification exam with American Medical Technologists and be a Registered
Phlebotomy Technician.
Includes course work in
anatomy of the circulatory system, medical ethics, bloodborne
pathogens, orientation to the laboratory, venipuncture
skills and complications, and other collection techniques for
diagnostic tests. Also includes 60 hours of clinical experience at a
local hospital or clinic.
