Why the Adult Career Center?
Our Goal is to give students in the Athens, Hocking, and Perry Counties and surrounding areas, the tools to become employed in today’s job market.
Our Purpose is to promote workforce development and economic growth by preparing those we train for employment, career enhancement and ultimately better futures.
Our Mission is to provide exceptional service and learning opportunities.
Our Courses and most of our training provides industry based credentialing in the form of certification or licensure. We proudly offer training on a continuous basis, daytime and evening, 12 months annually and available on our campus or business sites.
Our Training can be customized for businesses or individuals. Course fees are low and in many cases, credits are available with Hocking College.
Our Grants serviced include Pell and WIA approved as applicable.
Our School is an Ohio Department of Education Adult Workforce Development Full-Service Center accredited by the North Central Association of Schools and licensed by ACT™ as a Value Added Re-Seller.
