With classroom instruction from experienced instructors and clinical experience in the field, the Nursing Assistant program will help you become job-ready in just three weeks. |
Curriculum

Areas of study include:
- Basic nursing skills
- Infection control
- Personal care skills
- Mental health issues and social services
- Basic restorative services
- Resident's rights
- American Safety & Health Institute First Aid and CPR Pro
- Employment skills
You will also receive specialized Home Health Aide training which includes bloodborne pathogens, nutrition and meal preparation, personal home and fire safety, communication and conflict management, emergency oxygen administration, death and dying, home management skills and review of the HIPAA guidelines. |
Professional Certifications and Industry Credentials

Upon successful completion of the program, you will be prepared to sit for the State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) exam administered through the Ohio Department of Health.
You will also be prepared to take your certification exams in First Aid (American Safety & Health Institute), CPR Pro (American Safety & Health Institute), as well as the National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) from ACT WorkKeys. |
